Adoption by Shepherd Care (ASC) was founded in 1980 based on Christian

How long have you been in business?
ASC has been a licensed child placing agency since 1980.
What is your primary product or service?
We provide quality adoption services to birth parents and prospective adoptive families. ASC provides the following adoption services; assist pregnant women choosing to make an adoption plan for their baby/child which include housing, food, assistance with reasonable living expenses; Home studies to prospective adoptive parents desiring to build their family through adoption; assisting with all legal steps to complete an adoption; post-placement & post-adoption reports; child background studies; & birth parent interviews.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
My wife and I met a woman who was pregnant and said she was ready to a parent yet and wanted to know what she should do. We called Adoption by Shepherd Care and brought her to the agency in August 1988. The founders asked us if we would be interested in being house parents and that is how we started.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We don't just do the minimum requirements. We go above and beyond to help inform pregnant women of their choices. We are available 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. When we 1st meet with pregnant women we assess their situation regarding food, housing, and have they been to Dr yet.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
ASC has offices in Hollywood and Orlando. We work with birth parents across the state of Florida, and with adoptive families anywhere in the United States.

Even though the adoption process was difficult we/I felt comfortable & confident with the agency.
